Susan Noble

Susan Noble was born in the North-East and after studying Archaeology and spending over fifteen years in the Research and Education sector in Manchester she returned to her home town of Saltburn, and rediscovered her love of art, specifically printmaking. Drawing inspiration from her surroundings she works predominantly with lino to create reduction and multi-block relief prints. She uses a Blue Boy relief printing press, an etching press and a Victorian nipping press to create limited editions with relatively short runs from her home studio. Susan has exhibited in the RSMA Open Exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London, the Ferens Open Exhibition in Hull, Great Print Exhibitions at the Rheged Centre in Penrith and has work in the Staithes Gallery and the ‘Inspired By’ Gallery at Danby.

House of Hetty

House of Hetty brings you a range of cool and colourful polymer clay accessories designed to bring a bit of joy to everyone who wears them. Think bold colours and dreamy pastels, shapes to fall in love with, and designs inspired by the latest trends. Every item is handmade by Sam in her attic workshop, with the occasional ‘help’ from her daughter, Hetty. What began as a hobby during maternity leave in 2016, has evolved into a successful small business, which prompted Sam to leave her 9-5 job in 2021 to run House of Hetty full time, and spend more time doing the things she loves – spending time with family and creating colourful accessories!

Nettle Cottage Prints

Sarah and Becky are the printmakers behind Nettle Cottage Prints. Nestled in the wilds of the North York Moors overlooking heather moorland, sheep, and their own chickens and cottage garden, their print studio is a cosy hive of inky activity.

From their log cabin studio, Becky and Sarah create soothing, uplifting linoprints inspired by their moorland surroundings and slow, simple, seasonal living. From the wild and elemental to the intimate and domestic, their simple folk art linoprints are each infused with nature’s palette and the magic of the everyday.

Garth Bayley Art

Garth Bayley is inspired by capturing a moment in time. This inspiration has led to a collection of paintings from cycling and horse racing to dance, nature and portraits. Garth’s work is bold in expression, colourful and full of movement. He has exhibited widely, is represented by several UK galleries and his work is in private collections across the UK, mainland Europe, USA, South Africa, Australia, and Singapore. His work has regularly been shown in corporate venues including a major London bank. He has completed a residency in St John’s Church in Peterborough and was selected to complete a full collection for a new church building outside Washington D.C.

He is well known for his cycling work. He has documented several of the major tours. Capturing local cycling races is a passion and has led to collaborating with Tour of Britain this year. Garth works in oils, pen and ink and pastel. Each method gives a different feel and helps keep the work fresh and lively.

Sea Glass from the Past

Being from Whitby, I have a connection to all things local and a deep love for the beach and sea. I started collecting/crafting with sea glass a few years ago. My husband encouraged and supported me to start selling my work; custom pictures, keep sake cards, decorations and sentimental jewellery. I have successfully completed a silversmithing course to learn how to handcraft beautiful, bespoke pieces. I love that my work is in touch with local nature allowing people to keep their own piece of Whitby. Providing a range of stunning colours, packed with the local history of the sea.

Unrushed Images

I love to photograph traditional landscape & seascape scenes, however, my passion is to make images using intentional camera movement (ICM). This is the creative process of looking for contrast in colours, textures, or shapes, and moving the camera whilst exposing the image, so the elements within the frame lose their natural appearance, producing a painterly image more aligned with abstract or impressionist paintings than photography.
